Boy George's past relationship with fellowCulture Clubmember Jon Moss won't have any detrimental affect on the band's planned reunion, the singer has said.

As reported bySpinnerlast week, the original lineup of Culture Club will reunite in 2012 to release a new album and hit the road for an extensive world tour.

The question of the flamboyant star's previous relationship with drummer Moss -- now married with children -- was always going to be made into an issue by the press but Boy George has moved quickly to quash any rumors of trouble.

Asked if he had any reservations given their collective past, the singer told the Sun (viaContactmusic),"Oh no. We're really good mates. Jon has got kids now -- beautiful kids and we're definitely over each other."

The two secretly dated when Culture Club were at the peak of their powers but with Moss marrying his wife, the singer believes they now have a new"healthier"relationship.

"I love Jon dearly and it's a much healthier kind of love now,"George said"He'll always be a really important part of my life."
