Nicole Atkins' Valentine's Day Include Chili's, Motels and 'Sensual Foot Rubs' - Spinner

Nicole Atkins' recently releasedsecond full-length, 'Mondo Amore,'is an album all about love, both the good and bad. With that in mind, Spinner checked in with the Brooklyn-based singer to see what she was up to this Valentine's Day. Depending on what you're into, her plans could be a great or terrible way to spend the holiday.

"This Valentine's Day I'll be out on tour with my band on the west coast,"she says."We will drive from Portland to San Francisco where I'm sure we will all have a romantic dinner together at a Chili's, Applebee's or maybe somewhere a little fancier like Red Lobster. Afterwards, we'll all retire at the Econolodge and give each other sensual foot rubs."

Hey, whatever works, right? Even if that actually pans out, it would be hard to top an unforgettable February 14th that Atkins experienced in college.

"My most memorable Valentine's Day moment is the one with my first real boyfriend in college,"she says."He bought me flowers but what he didn't realize was that it was actually a grave blanket you put in a cemetery. I bought him a heart-shaped box of candy and filled it with weed. It was the first time he told me he loved me."
