Record Store Day has become a favorite holiday for music fans that still love to head out into the world and support independent, well-curated shops. TheStrokes, who are in the midst of a long-awaited comeback, know this well and are adding some of their unique kindling to the fire. The New York band recently announced that a new, non-album single, 'You're So Right,' will get the exclusive Record Store Day vinyl treatment on April 16.

The band's vocal fanbase won't need to wait that long, though. The track will also be featured as a B-Side to their recent effort, 'Under Cover of Darkness,' which is set to be officially issued as a 7-inch single on March 1. That track madeonline wavestwo weeks ago when it was posted for free on the band's website. Unlike 'Under Cover of Darkness,' 'You're So Right' will not be featured on the band's upcoming LP 'Angles.'

The announcement places yet another event to look forward to on The Strokes' busy upcoming schedule. They have already announced a blowout release show at New York City's Madison Square Garden on April 1 and are teasing a major announcement regarding SXSW that will be unveiled tomorrow (Feb. 22) on the band's website.

'Angles' is still due March 22 via the band's longtime home, RCA Records.
